Double-sided gingerbread mold. Obverse: heraldic shield; reverse: plant ornament. Rectangular shape; obverse at the top a heraldic shield with a bipartite field showing on the left two crossed swords and on the right geometric and plant motifs including an image of rue. Lower part: three framed fields, one rectangular, the other two ending with an arc, each containing a rose symbol on a dashed background. Reverse: complex decorative motif of symmetrically arranged and interwoven plant elements. Materials/function: gingerbread form applied art. Iconography: coats of arms, roses, plant and geometric ornaments, crown motif, grapevine. Date: 18th–19th century. Place: Province of Silesia 1742–1918. Dimensions: height 26.7 cm, width 10.2 cm, depth 3.8 cm., A long narrow wooden plank with a weathered surface displayed vertically against a plain light gray background, the plank showing a range of brown tones with darker brown spots and small round marks, a few tiny holes, subtle grain patterns and worn edges, and an overall aged, slightly uneven texture.
