Double-sided gingerbread form. Obverse: female figure in a long patterned dress and a hat. Reverse: four images β a baby in swaddling clothes, a fish, and two shoes. Gingerbread mold, applied/folk decorative art with figurative and zoomorphic motifs; female figures in rich dresses; folk motifs. Rectangular form. 18thβ19th century. Province of Silesia 1742β1918. Height 17 cm, width 11 cm, depth 2 cm., A rectangular wooden board with a warm tan-brown surface showing natural grain and darker brown areas, small dark holes and scattered small black pinpricks, and some lighter worn spots; the board bears carved recessed shapes including a human-like figure at the upper left with a rounded head, carved facial features, and a textured patterned body, a fish-shaped carving at the upper right with carved scales and a tail, and two boot-shaped or vessel-like vertical molds at the lower half with raised tops and curved bases; the edges of the board are slightly darker and the bottom edge shows a thin lighter strip and small vertical cracks.
