Double-sided gingerbread mould. Obverse: Madonna and Child—Madonna crowned, in a long patterned dress, surrounded by a double oval inner frame forming tongues of flame and an outer laurel-wreath frame. Reverse: two standing figures in richly decorated court costumes of the 17th–18th centuries man with long wig, justaucorps, pantaloons/culottes and stockings; woman with wig, long dress with a neckline, bottom decorated with a plant tendril. Plant ornaments, religious motifs and symbols. Applied art; gingerbread mould., 18th–19th century; Province of Silesia 1742–1918. Form: rectangular. Dimensions: height 20.3 cm, width 10 cm, depth 3.5 cm., A vertically oriented rectangular block of dark brown wood with visible cracks and a chipped lower corner suspended against a smooth light gray background, showing worn edges, textured grain, and a few lighter brown and tan spots.
