Reverse: figure of a man with a mustache, wearing a hat with a feather and a long fur-lined coat over a patterned shirt, holding a long pipe; similar floral and plant ornament at the bottom. Folk-style, figurative decorations; applied/decorative art, gingerbread mould; hats, feathers, male and female figures, pipes. Silesia Province of Silesia, 1742–1918. Double-sided rectangular form. 18th–19th century. Height 50.5 cm; width 19.2 cm; depth 4.5 cm., A single vertical rectangular wooden block with rounded edges floats against a smooth light gray background; the block is dark brown with visible wood grain and several thin cracks, and there are subtle worn lighter brown areas along the top and bottom edges.
