Double-sided gingerbread mold. Obverse: female figure in Silesian folk costume—bonnet, large bow tied under the neck, long dress with short puffed sleeves decorated at the hem with floral and plant ornament; figure holds a basket with flowers in her left hand. Reverse: baby in decorative swaddling clothes. Material: woodcarving; function: gingerbread mold; style: folk-style decorations, floral motifs; applied/decorative art. Single rectangular mold. Date: 18th–19th century. Place: Province of Silesia 1742–1918., A vertical rectangular piece of aged wood with rounded corners floats against a uniform light gray background; the wood shows a weathered brown surface with darker brown cracks and fine lines, a few lighter tan spots near the edges, and subtle worn darker patches at the top and bottom.
