Double-sided gingerbread mould. Obverse: Easter Lamb holding a banner, haloed, with a chalice in front collecting blood; background strewn with numerous flowers; whole surrounded by a laurel-leaf wreath. Reverse: female figure seated at a spinning wheel in a long decorative dress with a deep neckline, accompanied by three triangular motifs decorated internally with geometric elements; rectangular mould with four motifs on one side. Woodcarving; gingerbread mould; decorative applied art; motifs include Lamb of God, religious motifs, spinning wheel, female figure, geometric and floral ornament, laurel wreath; historical costumes; festive traditions. 18th–19th century, Province of Silesia 1742–1918. Form: double-sided; height 28 cm, width 14.4 cm, depth 2.5 cm., A vertically oriented rectangular wooden block with rounded short edges suspended against a neutral gray background, showing a dark brown surface with lighter brown worn patches and visible cracks and grain lines, with subtle variations of tan and black on the block and the background appearing in shades of gray.
