Double-sided gingerbread mould. Rectangular shape, carved wood, height 25.8 cm, width 19.4 cm, depth 4.3 cm. Obverse: image of a lion with an abundant mane standing on a base decorated with plant-twig ornament, holding a ball engraved with the date 1829 and a symbol of an anchor intertwined with the letter S; floral and plant decoration at the bottom. Reverse: figure of a cavalier on horseback in early 19th-century riding attire jacket, breeches, top hat, holding a riding crop; a round shield at the horse's front legs engraved 1831 and the same anchor-and-S symbol mark of the woodcarver or owner of the form; floral and plant ornament at the bottom. Iconography: figurative scenes, lions, rider on a horse, historical costumes, plant motifs. Function: gingerbread mould. Region: Silesia Province of Silesia, 1742–1918. Date: 1829 / 1831., A long narrow vertical wooden plank with a worn brown surface centered against a smooth pale gray background, showing subtle scratches, scuffs, and variations in the wood grain and finish, with slightly rounded edges and small areas of lighter wear near its top and bottom ends; visible colors include shades of brown on the plank and shades of gray in the background.
