The carved figure depicts a person wearing a top hat and a long coat seated on a stylized horse, with carved details suggesting hair, facial features, coat buttons, a sash, and textured saddle and rein decorations. The horse stands on a decorative base with carved ornamental motifs and floral-like patterns, and the base and figure are rendered in the same brown wood with slightly polished highlights where the carving is more worn. The surrounding background is flat wood with subtle variations in brown and small blemishes, and the entire panel is set against a neutral gray backdrop.
