Double-sided gingerbread mold. Obverse: couple holding hands; reverse: three rectangles. Woodcarving; gingerbread mold used for making gingerbread. Rectangular; on one side an image of two figures, male and female, holding hands: a woman in a richly decorated long dress with a hat, a man in a caftan and short wig—costumes typical of the 18th century; decoration includes plant elements at the bottom. Other side: three empty rectangles. 18th–19th century, Province of Silesia 1742–1918. Height 20 cm; width 8.7 cm., A rectangular, vertically oriented block with rounded corners and a weathered surface showing cracks and fine lines, in shades of dark brown with lighter brown and grayish areas, centered against a plain light gray background.
