Double-sided gingerbread mould. Obverse: female figure in a long, patterned, richly decorated dress, wearing a hat decorated with an egretta; reverse: male figure with a fur hat, dressed in a fur-lined coat over a shirt with decorative embroidery, holding a long pipe; plant decoration at the bottom of both figures. Woodcarving; folk-style decorations; gingerbread moulds; applied/decorative art; female and male figures; historical costumes; water pipes. 18th–19th century, Province of Silesia 1742–1918. Double-sided rectangular mould; height 19 cm, width 9 cm, depth 3.3 cm., A rectangular wooden plank with rounded corners is centered against a smooth gray background, showing a weathered brown surface with visible scratches, small holes, and darker grain lines; the background is various shades of gray and the plank displays tones of brown and subtle hints of darker and lighter brown.
