Double-sided gingerbread mould. Obverse: female figure in a long, patterned, richly decorated dress, wearing a hat decorated with an egretta. Reverse: male figure with a fur hat, dressed in a fur-lined coat over a shirt with decorative embroidery, holding a long pipe. Plant decoration at the bottom of both figures. Woodcarving; folk-style decorations. Applied/decorative art; gingerbread moulds. 18th–19th century; Province of Silesia 1742–1918. Form: double-sided rectangular mould. Dimensions: height 19 cm, width 9 cm, depth 3.3 cm., A rectangular wooden block with rounded edges sits on a flat surface; the block is brown with visible wood grain and darker worn areas, and its top surface features a carved fish shape with textured scales. The surrounding surface and background are shades of light gray.
