Double-sided gingerbread mould. Obverse: female figure in a long, patterned, richly decorated dress, wearing a hat decorated with an egretta. Reverse: male figure with a fur hat, dressed in a fur-lined coat over an embroidered shirt, holding a long pipe. Plant decoration at the bottom of both figures. Woodcarving, folk-style decorations; applied/decorative art; female and male figures; historical costumes; double-sided rectangular mould. 18th–19th century, Province of Silesia 1742–1918. Height 19 cm, width 9 cm, depth 3.3 cm., A vertical rectangular wooden plank with a worn, smooth surface, showing a few shallow carved shapes and small round indentations; the wood displays various brown tones from light to medium brown with some darker brown spots and subtle grain patterns; the background is a uniform light gray.
