Figurative, genre scenes in folk-style decoration; hearts, altars, Cupid, wreaths, birds, sacrificial altar, erotic scenes. Double-sided rectangular form: one side with two heart-shaped fields — first: female figure in a long dress seated among palm trees, holding a wreath, in front of an altar decorated with a garland with fire burning on it, illuminated by sunrays; second: two cupids hovering over an altar decorated with garlands and holding a wreath. Other side with four hearts, each with a separate scene — first: a bird of paradise among branches; second: a young couple reclining on a chaise longue, with a temple illuminated by the sun and trees in the background; third: a cupid holding a wreath, hovering over an altar with burning fire surrounded by trees, bushes and flowers; fourth: a couple in love holding hands surrounded by trees and bushes. Applied decorative art; Silesia, 18th–19th century. Form dimensions: height 23 cm, width 13.8 cm, depth 4.3 cm., A rectangular wooden board with a smooth brown surface features two large heart-shaped carved panels, one near the top and one near the bottom, each framed by a braided border. The upper heart contains a carved scene of a seated figure holding a circular wreath beside a tall pedestal with a flame-like carving, surrounded by leafy plant forms and decorative foliage. The lower heart contains a mirrored decorative composition with reclining animal-like figures, draped foliage, and a central circular motif, all enclosed by a similar braided border. The wood shows natural grain variations, small dark spots, and areas of wear and slight chipping along the edges, with overall colors of brown tones against a neutral gray background.
