Gingerbread mold, double-sided. Obverse: image of a rider on a horse in a parade uniform from the Napoleonic Wars period, wearing a bicorn, caftan with epaulettes and braiding, an order on the chest, striped trousers and long boots; decorative row on the horse with geometric motif; bottom decoration of leaves and flowers. Reverse: small image of a beehive. Rectangular wooden mold with letters CG Gl. carved on the edge initials of the woodcarver or owner. 18th–19th century, Province of Silesia 1742–1918. Height 51.5 cm, width 25.5 cm, depth 5 cm. Materials/genre: gingerbread mold, decorative/applied art; motifs include Napoleonic soldiers, riders, horse, floral decorations, historical costumes, military uniforms, male figures. Maker: woodcarver or gingerbread, A long narrow rectangular wooden beam is shown vertically against a plain gray background, with worn and slightly rounded ends and visible surface scratches and patches of discoloration; the wood appears in shades of brown with areas of darker brown and faint reddish-brown, and the background is a muted light gray.
