Iconography: wreath, angel cherubs, trumpet, epitaphs; knotted monograms, cartouches, plant ornaments, Latin aphorisms. Function: utility item. Date: 1700. Dimensions: height 5 cm, width 15 cm, depth 12 cm., A rectangular wooden block suspended against a plain light gray background, showing a weathered surface with a dark brown to medium brown coloration and a few lighter brown areas, several small round holes scattered across its face, a diagonal crack running partway across, worn and slightly rounded edges, a few darker spots of discoloration and surface texture variations.
