Inscriptions; human figures and figurative motifs., noted. Decorative art: wooden pear-shaped tankard, round, richly decorated; lid rim and handle decorated with plant motifs and masks, studded with ivory pins. Center has a row of vertically driven metal pegs placed at regular intervals the top two missing. 17th century, Scandinavia. Vessel. Height 23.5 cm; width 20.5 cm., An ornately carved round wooden container with a lid, showing a dark brown wood tone with lighter brown highlights and small white inlays, decorated with detailed relief scenes and figures around its sides and lid, featuring a prominent vertical carved strap and a raised decorative crest on top, all set against a plain light gray background with a soft shadow to one side.
