Leather sole with a semicircular piece under the heel, tapering sharply toward a pointed toe; a second layer of leather under the heel nailed with metal nails. Height 5.3 cm, length 17 cm., A single pair of low, slip-on shoes sits on a smooth, neutral gray surface against a gray backdrop; the shoes are a warm tan color with subtle patterned stitching and worn areas, trimmed with black edging and featuring an interior lining that appears a muted pink or mauve; the soles are darker, closer to black or dark brown, and the shoes show creases and slight scuffing consistent with use.
