Chasuble, gift, liturgical vestment with plant ornaments, church paraments, sacred art, churches and chapels furnishings. The column is embroidered with colorful silks with large flowers on a silver background. The sides are made of silk grosgrain brocaded with silk thread and motifs of a winding ribbon stripe and branches with small flowers and clover leaves. The columns are embroidered on a background laid with silver thread with zigzag motifs, wide winding branches with various flowers. The neckline is similarly embroidered. The edges of the columns and neckline are edged with wide gold braid. The edges of the chasuble are trimmed with narrow braid. 18th century, Poland; length 107 cm, width 69 cm back., A flat garment-like textile laid against a pale neutral background, showing a central vertical panel with floral embroidery framed by narrow gold trim, flanked by lighter panels of patterned fabric and wider gold-colored side sections; the embroidered flowers and vines appear in shades of pale yellow, white, green, and muted orange on a silvery ground, while the surrounding fabrics show cream and beige tones with small floral motifs in soft pink and green; the overall piece displays worn areas, frayed edges, and a few darkened spots, with the gold trim and beige silk giving a warm yellowish sheen contrasted with the cool silver embroidery.
