Wall hanging of rep fabric sewn from many fragments, embroidered with beige, cream, ash, and brown silk thread with flat stitches, and with silver thread and plate with laid stitches — in places on a backing of thin string. In the center of the lower edge and in the upper corners are bouquets composed of large and small flowers, fruit, and cornucopias. In the lower corners and in the center of the upper edge are smaller floral sprigs. Trimmed with a wide mesh ribbon with sewn-on flowers. Tie strings are sewn onto the narrow edges. Floral motifs; plant ornaments; sacred art; churches and chapels furnishings. Piece width 49 cm, 23 weft threads and 35 warp threads per cm; brown selvedges; similar fabric density. 2nd half of the 18th century, Poland; fabrics. Height 73 cm, width 120 cm., A rectangular textile with a pale beige central panel featuring a few floral motifs in muted brown and gray tones, surrounded by a woven border in green and blue with small accents of pink and gold, the fabric shows subtle creases and slight discoloration, and the overall background around the textile is a soft light gray.
