Velum made of white linen fabric with a rare plain weave 25 warp threads and 30 weft threads per 1 cm. Embroidered with gold thread on a silk backing with pierced stitches. Double-sided embroidery, equally careful on the right and left sides. Metal thread woven on thick silk thread. In the center, in a radial circle, the IHS monogram with a cross. In the field of the napkin, radial rosettes arranged in 6 rows, 7 in each, offset. Small stylized ornaments flower branches? in the border. Liturgical vestment, 16th/17th century, Poland. Height 66.5 cm, width 65 cm., A rectangular light beige cloth with a pale lavender-gray background, decorated all over with a repeating motif of small stylized sun-like shapes in a muted brown color and a larger central sun motif in the same brown; the cloth has a narrow decorative border of similar brown motifs and a sewn edge, with a small brown paper tag attached near one corner.
