From the semicircular serrations upwards: repeating floral ornament with a twig motif in triangular divisions; above this, a small twig in a regular projection. Lace; width 42 cm, length 430 cm., A long piece of delicate lace fabric laid flat showing an intricate repeating embroidered floral pattern with a scalloped lower edge; the lace is mainly off-white and cream with areas of slight discoloration, set against a smooth gray background; the fabric has a fine netted ground with a few irregular holes and some frayed edges along the top, and the embroidery forms denser floral motifs along the bottom that become more sparse toward the top.
