A so-called Saxon lace belt, lace belt and clothing accessory for men's clothing, decorated with a continuous central belt featuring a geometric ornament including a circle containing an hourglass. Side belts of similar width are permanently connected. Entire belt trimmed with fringe. 17th–18th century, Poland. Materials: lace. Dimensions: height 270 cm, width 25 cm., A horizontal band of woven fabric displayed against a gray background, featuring a central decorative strip with an openwork pattern of interlocking shapes in beige and tan tones, flanked above and below by sections of netlike mesh in similar beige and light brown hues, and finished at the top and bottom edges with fringe strands in beige and light tan.
