A so-called Saxon lace belt, creator unknown, lace belt for men's clothing, clothing accessory. The central part is a continuous belt with a geometric ornament; among the motifs is a circle containing an hourglass. Side belts of similar width are permanently connected. The entire belt is trimmed with fringe. 17th–18th century, Poland. Materials: lace. Dimensions: height 270 cm, width 25 cm., A section of woven textile with a long fringe on one side and a shorter fringe along the opposite edge, showing a central panel of openwork lace with repeating geometric motifs and a surrounding net-like pattern; the fibers and threads appear in shades of beige and tan against a neutral gray background.
