A so-called Saxon lace belt, lace belt accessory for men's clothing. The central part is a continuous belt with a geometric ornament, including a motif of a circle containing an hourglass. The side belts of similar width are permanently connected. The entire belt is trimmed with fringe. 17th/18th century, Poland; lace clothing accessory; height 270 cm, width 25 cm., A long, narrow piece of woven fabric with fringe on both short ends and along one long edge, displayed on a gray background; the fabric shows an open, net-like weave in a beige or tan color with a central decorative band featuring a repeating geometric motif woven in the same beige or tan hue, and a denser woven border separating the decorative band from the netting; a wide tassel-like fringe of loose beige or tan threads extends from one short end.
