Double-sided gingerbread mould. Obverse: group of musicians; Reverse: three fish. Double-sided, rectangular form; on one side a group of three musicians in costumes typical of the 17th–18th centuries—hat, justaucorps, culottes and stockings—the first playing a double bass, the second a trumpet and the third a violin; floral and plant decoration at the bottom. Reverse: three stylized elongated fish covered with scales, shown in profile and arranged in a row. Gingerbread mould; decorative art; folk motifs; zoomorphic motifs; floral decorations. Early 19th century, Province of Silesia 1742–1918. Height 21.5 cm, width 15 cm, depth 2.8 cm., A rectangular wooden panel with a carved scene of a group of three standing figures wearing tricorn-style hats and long coats, each figure holding a stringed instrument and shown with detailed facial features and curled hair; the carving includes decorative carved foliage at the figures' feet and patterned borders near the bottom. The wood is a medium to dark brown with visible grain, tool marks, and areas of lighter wear along edges and corners, and the background around the carving is a slightly smoother brown. The overall palette shows shades of brown with subtle variations in tone.
