Edge engraved with date 1808 with the letter S over an anchor mark of the woodcarver/gingerbread maker and owner of the form., wood; decorative folk motifs, historical costume, zoomorphic motif. Maker: unknown woodcarver or gingerbread maker. Origin/provenance: Silesia Province of Silesia, circa 1808. Function: gingerbread mould. Dimensions: height 19.8 cm; width 7.3 cm; depth 4 cm., A worn rectangular wooden surface with rounded corners occupies the image, showing a weathered brown tone with variations of darker and lighter brown patches, small areas of blackish discoloration, and hints of yellowish wear near the top edge; the wood grain and several long cracks and fine scratches run across the surface, and the edges show smoother, slightly darker brown wear against a neutral gray background.
