Form: double-sided, rectangular. Obverse details: five motifs including the alphabet, two babies in swaddling clothes, a skull, and two horses standing opposite each other. Reverse details: three human figures placed on bases — two male, one female — each shown in two versions front and back; animals dog, rooster, sheep appearing in pairs and placed on bases. Iconography: zoomorphic motifs, human figures, running dog, roosters, lamb, skulls, folk motifs, draft horses. Inscription on the edge: F. Glauer: maker's signature or owner and the date 1820. Date: 1820. Place/region: Province of Silesia. Dimensions: height 11 cm, width 20.4 cm, depth 2.7 cm., A rectangular wooden block rests on a smooth gray surface, showing a top face carved with a group of shallow relief shapes that resemble human figures and animals. The wood has a warm brown color with slightly darker carved recesses and worn edges, and there is a small patch of lighter tan visible on one side where a label was placed. The background and surface are varying shades of gray.
