Reverse: image of the Archangel Michael in a long patterned robe decorated with a plant twig motif, holding scales in his right hand and a sword in his left; at the feet a geometric-plant ornament. Date engraved on the edge: 1806, with the letter S against the background of an anchor mark of the woodcarver or gingerbread maker., woodcarver or gingerbread maker; gingerbread mould; folk-style decorative art with religious motifs; angels, figurative scenes, Archangel Michael iconography; Silesia, Province of Silesia 1742–1918. Form: bas-relief. Dimensions: height 11.6 cm; width 30.5 cm; depth 3 cm., A rectangular wooden panel with a carved upright figure in relief centered on it, showing a person with stylized hair and wings, wearing a long patterned garment with ornate carved details and standing on a patterned base; the wood shows natural grain and wear, with darker brown tones in the carved areas and lighter brown on the surrounding surface, and a neutral gray background.
