Side B: male figure in a high hat with a cane, wearing an outfit from the first half of the 19th century frock coat, coat and checked trousers; a dog stands on its hind legs at the man’s feet; plant decoration under his feet. Rectangular wooden form, carved initials ACL a. P, initials of the woodcarver or gingerbread maker and date 1842 on the edge. Gingerbread mould, decorated with floral and folk motifs. 19th century, Province of Silesia 1742–1918. Height 84.5 cm, width 32 cm, depth 4 cm., woodcarver or gingerbread maker., A rectangular wooden block lies flat on a light gray surface, showing a carved recessed design on its top face. The wood has a rich brown color with darker brown mottling and signs of wear along the edges. The carved area contains a raised, elongated central figure with textured patterns and angular outlines, surrounded by carved borders and shallow relief elements. The left end of the block shows an inset area with rounded cutouts, and the sides reveal the block’s thickness and slightly worn corners. Overall the visible colors are shades of brown on the wooden block and light gray in the background surface.
