Double-sided gingerbread mould. Obverse: four motifs — at top a female figure in a long patterned dress with a low neckline; below, a basket of flowers; below that, a seated young naked man with long hair sitting among flowers and smoking a pipe, with a skull and crossbones at his feet and the inscription MEMENTO MORI; at the very bottom a wreath woven from leaves and flowers. Reverse: five images of infants in patterned swaddling clothes. Gingerbread; decorative folk motifs; allegorical elements Transience/personification, floral decorations, wreaths, female figures, infants. Rectangular double-sided mould. 19th century; Province of Silesia 1742–1918. Dimensions: height 36.5 cm, width 8.8 cm, depth 1.5 cm., A single vertical cylindrical object with a rough, cracked surface in shades of brown and dark brown, suspended against a plain light gray background.
