Double-sided rectangular mould: on one side a figure of a soldier in a parade uniform from the beginning of the 19th century, wearing a high shako with a tassel, epaulettes and decorative sleeves, an order pinned on the chest, a sabre with a decorative tassel at the leg; at the bottom a geometric and plant decoration. The other side: baby in swaddling clothes richly decorated with geometric and plant ornament. On the edge, the letter engraved: B. initial of the woodcarver or gingerbread maker. 19th century. Form. Height 35.3 cm, width 11.6 cm, depth 3.5 cm., A carved wooden panel in brown tones shows a full-length relief of a standing figure wearing a tall hat and a detailed outfit with decorative shoulder elements and a belted waist; the figure's facial features and hair are carved, and the torso displays rows of circular depressions and ornamental motifs, with a few tassel-like shapes hanging from the belt. The lower portion of the panel includes carved vertical elements beside the figure and a decorative base with floral and woven patterns. The background around the carved figure is a uniform light gray.
