Pattern: intertwining tendrils with fanciful forms — some half-vegetal, half-animal fantastic winged dragons, others topped with sharp poppy-head–like shafts. Colors: pink ground; brocades in silver, green, pale pink, and silver metal thread with a loose braid. Width of the fabric: 54.5 cm. Reported dimensions: height 60 x width 27 cm; overall height 106 cm, width 54 cm. Early 18th century, France.
