Colors: pale blue background; wefts from white to blue and dark pink fading to red; green; black weft outline. Droguet: weave where the weft creates colorful decoration, often with warp and weft in different colors; pattern background usually plain weave with motifs formed by unbound wefts liserés. Droguettes often feature small flowers or floral sprigs on textured, often cloud-shaped reserves; used in the 1760s for men's clothing. Dimensions: 4.5 x 5 cm. The preserved fragment is sewn from several parts, which in outline resemble the short spencer coat worn with light dresses at the turn of the 18th and 19th centuries. A garment justokor made of brocade with a similar pattern dates from the late 18th century, France; height 69 cm, width 33 cm., A fabric garment piece laid flat against a dark background, showing a patterned woven texture with floral trim along many seams and edges. The main fabric displays muted stripes and a subtle repeating motif in shades of green, pink, and gray, with occasional darker olive and brown areas. The floral trim includes small blossoms and leaf shapes in yellow, pink, white, and green on a bluish-gray band. The background behind the fabric is deep black or very dark brown. The garment has multiple stitched panels and seams with visible thread and slightly frayed edges, and a few small loose threads and fabric tags attached near one end.
