The central wider band is surrounded symmetrically by three narrower bands with two trees on each side: nearest referencing Slutsk sashes from around 1780, then a repeat of the central sash pattern, and at the close another reference to the Slutsk sashes. The tapestry is distinguished by great care in its execution.
