The tapestry looks as if it were sewn from seven kontusz sashes with short slits. The center is marked by a wide band with heads and three flower bushes in vases; the pattern of the bushes alludes to the sashes of Kraków from the late 18th century. The central wider band is surrounded symmetrically by three narrower bands with two trees on each side: nearest referencing Slutsk sashes from around 1780, then a repeat of the central sash pattern, and at the close another reference to the Slutsk sashes. The tapestry is distinguished by great care in its execution. Motifs from kontusz sashes frequently appear on Buczacz tapestries. ca. 1894, Buczacz place of origin, fabrics, tapestry, height 148 cm, width 199 cm., The image shows a large rectangular textile with vertical panels arranged side by side, featuring repeating horizontal bands and decorative motifs; the overall palette includes shades of brown, gold, beige, olive green, and muted tan, with darker brown outlines and some lighter cream highlights, and a wooden rod visible along the top edge.
