Ornament - Heads: two motifs of rooted flower bushes with a carnation flower at the top. - Center: with carp scale motifs. - Edges: vertical with motifs of flower branches forming a twig; horizontal with a twig motif with palmettes. - Borders: checkerboard. Coloring - Right: silver background, light brown ornament of heads and edges, cream carp scale design. - L.: reverse of right. Signed at the bottom in the heads: Paschalis. 18th century 1788–1790. Length 372 cm, width 29 cm., A pair of long woven fabric panels hung side by side against a pale background, each panel narrow and rectangular with fringed ends; the left panel is a muted pale gold with metallic sheen and a subtle repeating scalloped pattern throughout, a floral border running along the long edges and a section near the bottom showing stylized floral motifs above a dense fringe of mixed gold and silver threads, while the right panel is a warmer golden beige with a repeating scalloped lattice across its length, a slightly darker rectangular panel near the lower portion containing floral designs, and a similar gold and silver fringed edge at the bottom.
