Woven fabric; height 272 cm, width 278 cm., A woven tapestry showing a pastoral scene framed by an ornate decorative border; within the central field there are a few large leafy trees with foliage in shades of green, blue-green, and yellow, a winding stream or river in pale blue and off-white, grassy and earthy ground in shades of brown, tan, and green, and a group of plants with broad leaves in muted greens and bluish tones. Two birds appear in the foreground perched on or near tree trunks with plumage in pale cream, gray, and muted brown, and another bird is visible on the ground with similar neutral tones. In the middle distance there are building forms with stone-colored and brown roofs partly obscured by foliage. The outer decorative border contains scrolling floral and foliate motifs rendered in gold, tan, blue, and dark brown against a darker background, with accents of lighter blue along the very outer edge.
