English-style outer dress, made of pale pink silk with patterns of tiny flower bouquets, with a close-fitting lace at the back, fitted with cuts and stiffened with boning. Laced at the front, without a separate bodice, with a wrap-around bodice. Large, round neckline. Narrow, elbow-length set-in sleeves. The outer skirt is made of 7 panels, sewn to the bodice, richly gathered at the back, and slit at the front. The underskirt is smooth at the front and gathered at the sides, made of 6 panels, with the silk fabric replaced with canvas at the top, front, and back. The sides are very roomy, gathered separately and tied with ribbons. Fabric report: height 36.5 cm, width 23.5 cm. Fabric report: width 48 cm. Date: 1780–1785. Place of origin: Poland. Garment length: 147 cm., A mannequin with a smooth white face and pale pink shading around the eyes and cheeks wears a large sculptural white headpiece resembling rolled floral shapes; it has a fitted pale beige bodice with a scooped neckline and elbow-length sleeves that end in sheer white ruffled cuffs, and a full skirt layered with an outer pale beige panel and an inner pale pink panel both patterned with small gold and muted green floral motifs; the mannequin's hands are white and positioned at its sides, and the background is a uniform mid-gray.
