Habit à la française, Floral and plant motifs; embroidered green silk with small bouquets of flowers. Fitted at the top, widened at the back from the waist down with two slit pleats. Fastens at the front with hooks and eyes. Semicircularly cut lapels overlap at breast level and are cut off at the bottom. High, standing collar. Long sleeves set in at elbow height, cut in an arc, finished with wide, slightly protruding cuffs. Side pockets at hip level covered with trapezoidal flaps. Back with center seam; slits at hip level. Center back flaps meet without a pleat. Embroidery runs in a wide band around the edges, cuffs, pockets, collar, and back pleats. Decorative buttons sewn in threes on cuffs, under pocket flaps, two at top of back pleats, and in the pressed pleats. 1770s, Silesia; France place of creation. Garment; length 112 cm., A long green coat with a high collar displayed on a black form, decorated along the front edges, cuffs, and lower panels with embroidered floral motifs in colors including yellow, white, pink, and a muted red, with additional green and pale accents; the coat fabric has a subtle horizontal ribbed texture and matching green-covered buttons along the front, and the interior lining visible at the open front is a beige to tan color.
