Vest, floral and plant ornaments, patterned brocaded silk fabric. Predominant ornamental colors: silver, plum, green, and raspberry. Front of brocaded silk fabric with motifs arranged around the edges. Fastened with 12 buttons embroidered with gold threads. No collar. Side flaps with flapped pockets; three buttons under the flaps as for the closure. Back: bottom and sides of fabric as on the front, but the cut-out pieces are plain without brocade. Cream silk lining. 1740–1760, England fabric?, Silesia, garment, length 74 cm., A sleeveless garment laid flat with an outer layer in a pale cream color decorated with a floral woven pattern in green, purple, blue, and red, showing leafy and flower motifs along one side and hem, and an inner lining in shades of beige and light brown with visible seams and worn areas.
