Church cope, creator unknown, origin unknown, liturgical vestment decorated with flowers, leaves and plant ornaments; used as church parament for churches and chapels; 18th century, France; height 142 cm, width 300 cm., A semicircular textile panel with a pale cream background patterned across its surface with a repeating floral and ribbon motif in colors including blue, green, pink, and gold, edged with a narrow gold trim and showing a horizontal band near the straight edge and a small rectangular tab at the top center, laid flat against a light gray background.
