Children's dress made of cream satin. Long, fitted at the top, slightly flared at the bottom. Fastened at the front to the neck with 12 small, covered buttons. Low, stand-up collar. Long, set-in sleeves, finished with turn-up cuffs. Widened at the back, from waist level down, by gathered pleats. Unaltered. 2nd half of the 18th century, Poland. Garment; length 49 cm, width 100 cm bottom., A light-colored, open coat or dress laid flat on a gray background, showing the interior with a gathered skirt section and a small decorative tab at the waist; the garment has long sleeves with turned cuffs and visible seam lines and buttonholes along one front edge; the fabric appears smooth and slightly sheer in places, with subtle variations in shading; visible colors include cream, off-white, pale beige, and gray from the background.
