Stole, 18th century, Poland. Liturgical vestment, length 205 cm, width 22 cm. Made of woolen fabric with linen lining pink. Embroidered along the edges with floral tendrils; ends of the paddles embroidered with equal-armed crosses at the center. At the junction of the paddles and the waistband is an embroidered floral rosette motif. Around the edges is an embroidered band with a carp-scale motif imitating gold braid. Dominant ornament colors: white background, yellow, green, pink, and blue. Categories: church paraments, liturgical vestments, plant ornaments, sacred art, churches and chapels furnishings., A long fabric band laid flat on a pale background, with a yellow outer border and a lighter inner strip featuring a repeating floral pattern in red, pink, green, and blue; both ends widen into rounded triangular shapes with embroidered floral motifs and a central star-like design in yellow, with visible stitching and slight fraying at one end.
