Stole made of silk fabric with olive-colored stripes. Embroidered with a pattern of leaves on the wider stripe; narrower stripes with cherry-colored dot motifs. Palettes trimmed with braid. Essence-armed crosses sewn from the same braid in the center of the palettes and the stripe of the stole. Linen lining. 2nd half of the 18th century, Poland. Liturgical vestment. Length 180 cm, width 17 cm., A long, narrow fabric strip laid flat against a pale gray background, appearing as a muted golden-beige color with areas of darker brown discoloration and faint greenish and reddish stains; the fabric widens slightly at both ends into triangular-flared shapes, showing visible stitching lines and creases, with one end folded and frayed, and a small cluster of pale off-white tags attached near one end.
