A hood from a church cope. The hood of the liturgical cope is made of navy blue silk with appliquéd decoration of stylized flowers, leaves, and stars. In the lower center, under the bishop's hat, is a cartouche with the Odrowaz Dolega coat of arms. Predominant colors: gold, silver, green, and brick red. Trimmed with contemporary metal lace braid. The appliqué was transferred to a new fabric. 18th century, Poland. Materials: fabrics. Height 58 cm, width 61 cm., A rectangular fabric panel with a rounded bottom edge is visible, mostly pale pink in color and showing many creases and stitched quilt-like lines; it is edged with a decorative fringe in a metallic grayish-gold tone that forms an irregular border around the fabric.
