Kilim, The kilim is divided symmetrically into vertical stripes. The widest central stripe is decorated with an elongated hexagon containing other geometric motifs, including rhombuses and polygons. Adjacent stripes have diagonal serrated patterns; alternating stripes repeat the central hexagon motif in different colors, interspersed with more diagonal serrated bands. Further stripes feature rhombus motifs, and the two outermost stripes display intersecting rhombus motifs. No border. Colors: orange, white, brown, green, gray, brick red, and light celadon. 20th century. Materials: fabrics. Height 281 cm, width 191.5 cm. Poland., A woven textile with a repeating geometric pattern arranged in horizontal bands across its surface, featuring a palette that includes brown, tan, beige, cream, red, pink, orange, yellow, green, teal, blue, navy, and black; several bands show diamond and stepped motifs in contrasting colors, a few bands contain zigzag and chevron-like rows with alternating color blocks, and central horizontal sections display larger hexagonal and diamond medallions surrounded by smaller diamond elements; the piece has solid brown borders along its vertical edges, fringed ends at the top and bottom, and is hung from clips at the top.
