Dimensions: height 58 cm, width 61 cm., An ornate textile fragment with a rounded, shield-like outline shows a central pastoral scene rendered in muted tones of brown, tan, pink, green, cream, and hints of blue; a pinkish-brown cat sits on a grassy patch facing a small light-colored bird near the water, surrounded by a garland of flowers and foliage in shades of pink, cream, green, and red; a draped ribbon-like swath in pink and cream runs along the lower edge, framing a cluster of mixed blossoms, while the outer areas of the textile display worn brown and tan backgrounds with areas of lighter beige and subtle green, and the whole piece is set against a pale gray backdrop.
