Colors: beige, light pink, sky blue, and olive green. After the mid-18th century. Possibly Beauvais or Aubusson origin. Height 56 cm, width 67 cm., A rectangular textile with a wide pink border and a central beige panel shows an ornate woven scene: a light-colored bird with a decorative crest stands amid a stylized landscape of green and brown hills and foliage, surrounded by floral garlands and leafy vine motifs in greens, pinks, and muted browns; the lower area features a draped swag of flowers and ribbons in shades of pink, purple, blue, cream, and green, with fringed tassel-like elements at the sides, and the outer edge trimmed with a narrow white border.
