Colors: beige, cream, ochre, green, blue, and red. Post–mid-18th century; possibly Aubusson or Beauvais. Materials: fabric. Height 71 cm, width 58 cm., A rectangular textile with a rounded top bordered by a wide pink band and narrow white edges surrounds a central woven scene in muted beige and tan tones; the scene shows a person wearing a blue top and pink skirt standing in a pastoral landscape with grassy mounds and scattered plants, framed at the top by a decorative swag of floral garlands in shades of green and pale yellow and flanked by ornate vertical floral borders with pink and green accents, while the lower border features a garland of pale flowers against the pink background.
