Colors: beige, cream, pink, blue, and red. After the mid-18th century. Possibly Beauvais or Aubusson. Fabric. Height 69 cm, width 59 cm., A worn rectangular textile with a scalloped top edge is mounted on a pale background; the textile has a deep pink border and a central faded scene in beige and brown tones showing a small figure wearing a blue garment standing amid grassy, tangled vegetation, surrounded by frayed decorative edges in muted gold and green; white fabric strips are affixed around the outer edges and a small white patch is attached near the bottom, with areas of loose threads and visible wear throughout.
