Brocade threads: green, celadon, lemon, pale pink, pale blue, raspberry, plum, paint. Metal threads: silver lamellar, frise silver, and metal thread with silver braid S. Selvedge width 0.7 cm. Dimensions: length 39 cm; overall height 98 cm, width 23 cm. Origin: France, 18th century., A rectangular piece of light beige fabric with a repeating floral and vine pattern laid against a black background, showing frayed edges and a few small areas of wear; the design features winding silvery-gray branches with textured leaves, sprigs of small round blue dots, and clusters of larger blossoms in shades of muted yellow, olive green, and deep mauve, with additional olive-green foliage and occasional pale green accents.
